1. Overview

Real BOGO ("the App") is a Shopify application that automatically applies BOGO (buy-one-get-one) discounts at checkout using Shopify Functions. This policy explains what data we access and how we use it.

2. Data We Access

• Shop data: We access your Shopify store's products, discounts, and cart information solely to configure and apply BOGO discount rules.
• Customer data: We do not collect, store, or process individual customer personal information. Discount logic runs entirely within Shopify Functions on Shopify's infrastructure.
• Session tokens: Shopify session tokens are stored in our database only to maintain your authenticated admin session.

3. Data Storage

Discount configurations (percentage, product filters) are stored as Shopify metafields on your shop, meaning all configuration data resides within your Shopify account. We maintain a minimal session database (PostgreSQL) solely for authentication purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

The App is hosted on Railway (railway.app). No customer data is transmitted to any third-party analytics or advertising services.

5. Data Retention

When you uninstall the App, your session data is deleted from our database within 48 hours via the app/uninstalled webhook. Discount configurations stored as Shopify metafields remain in your store and can be deleted from the Shopify admin.
